MÍA Hotels and Resorts recognized for the second consecutive year as a Socially Responsible Company

The Mexican Center for Philanthropy, A.C (CEMEFI) announced the list of winners of the ESR ® Distinctive (Socially Responsible Company) and grants recognition to MÍA Hotels and Resorts for the second consecutive year.

What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? Corporate social responsibility is a way of managing and doing business in which companies take care not only that their operations are sustainable economically, but also socially and environmentally. The ESR® Distinction (socially responsible company) is a systemic process to measure and compare the level of development of good social responsibility practices through indicators in the environmental, social and governance (ASG) fields in companies. CEMEFI's vision in awarding the ESR® Distinction is to encourage companies to undertake corporate social responsibility and sustainability actions that have a positive impact on society.
